The problem with episode #8 has now been fixed

皆さん、ポッドキャスト＃８は今までダウンロードする問題が有りました。今その問題を解決したから、も一回ダウンロードしようとして下さい。CHIPMUNK さんの連絡のお陰でこの問題に気が付きました。

Hi, until now there has been a problem with downloading podcast #8. I have just fixed this problem, so please try to download this podcast again. Thanks to CHIPMUNK for letting me know about this problem.

I know its a strange name for a blog, but that's exactly the educational resource I want to make.
このブログの名前はちょっと変ですが、言葉通り、風変わりだけど楽しい教材になれればと思います。

My plan is to translate into English interesting articles mainly from the Japanese version of the Reuter's site "Oddly Enough" (http://jp.reuters.com/news/oddlyEnough).
僕の計画はロイターの「世界のこぼれ話」のサイト（http://jp.reuters.com/news/oddlyEnough）等から面白い記事を翻訳します。

The Japanese and English text will be posted in the blog.
ブログに和文と英文を出します。

I will then make an audio recording of the Japanese and English versions of the article.
そうして、和文と英文を読んで、録音を作ります。

This will be accessible from the blog and can also be subscribed to as a podcast.
これはブログから聞ける、またポッドキャストに登録ができる。

In the audio file I will also include commentary about the article in English and sometimes in Japanese.
録音したオーディオファイルには英語と時々日本語の記事の解説も入ります。

The purposes of this blog and podcast are;
ブログとポッドキャストの目的は；

to provide interesting English study material for Japanese people in both audio and text format. (I believe that listening practice is very important, so the audio file is the primary resource and the text version is of secondary importance for language learning).
日本人に面白いオーディオとテキストの教材を提供する。（オーディオの方が言語を習うために効果的と信じます）。
to provide myself with Japanese writing and speaking practice. Thus I would appreciate feedback from readers and listeners regarding any corrections to my English translations of the Japanese stories and also corrections to my pronunciation in the audio file.
私自身の日本語の読み書きの練習のためです。だから皆さんが僕の間違えを直して、コメントで教えて下さい。

P.S.
Sometimes the English translation of an article is available on the English version of Reuters website (http://www.reuters.com/news/oddlyEnough ).
ために記事の英訳はロイターの英語のサイトにも乗っています。
If this is the case, then I will use either my translation or the Reuters' translation, depending on which seems best on a sentence by sentence basis。
その場合には、ロイターの方がいいか、僕の方がいいか、文書ずつできめて、ブログに入ります。
